Items we need...

Kirkland Preschool periodically needs items you may casually discard.  From paper towel or tp tubes to washed 1-gallon milk jugs.

We repurpose odds and ends that your child will turn into amazing inventions, art projects and musical instruments.

So be sure to check back here periodically to see what we are collecting.

Current Needs:

  • 8 oz Trader Joe's yogurt cups and lids
  • Metal lids from frozen, condensed juice (removed from the cardboard container and dishwashered please).

You may be asking yourself, "what in the world do they do with this stuff?"

Yogurt cups and lids are used constantly as paint containers.  A tp tube may turn into a child's handmade musical shaker.  A paper towel tube might turn into a looking scope.   A shoe box + some rubberbands becomes a box guitar!
