Treasure Box Book Club

monday 10am-2pm | ages 4-5.5 yrs

Teachers Ayumi and Christy

This enrichment class is for students entering kindergarten the following year. It can be taken in conjuntion with or independent of the T-W-Th-F KP class.

Our activities are based on the alphabet, helping children learn both the shapes and sounds of the letters. Every week children will bring a special item in their “treasure box” that connects to a letter and they will share it with the group. We’ll have lots of opportunities for collaborative learning and play!

Christy and Ayumi provide a fun and safe environment where children can grow and learn. Our class is based on the following three ideas:

  1. Fostering Life Skills

We focus on developing "life skills" to help children gain confidence and independence and tackle challenges. Through various activities, we enhance their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills, supporting them in discovering and developing their strengths.

  2. Building a Foundation for Learning

We create a rich learning environment to establish the foundation of knowledge and experience. By integrating "learning through play" and activities that stimulate curiosity, we encourage children to develop an interest in and adopt a positive attitude towards learning.

  3. Implementing Diverse Activities

We offer a wide range of activities, including music, art, sports, and science, to provide children with various experiences. This approach aims to spark their interests and curiosity, fostering balanced growth.

We are dedicated to supporting children in unlocking their full potential and growing with confidence as they move towards the future.
